If you’ve been hanging around here for a while, you probably know me as an artist, a paint instructor, or maybe even the lady who’s always sharing art kits, blog posts, and creative ideas. Yep, that’s me—always with a paintbrush in one hand and probably an iced coffee in the other.
But here’s something I’ve realized recently… I’m not just teaching people how to paint. I’m not only showing you how to make a pretty canvas or put together a fun holiday planner. What I’m really doing, without even consciously knowing it, is helping people slow down, breathe, and find a little bit of peace in the middle of their busy lives.
And honestly? I think that might be the thing I’m most proud of.
Creativity Meets Care
For me, art isn’t about perfection. It’s not about being the next Picasso (although wouldn’t that be fun?). It’s about showing up for yourself. Whether you’re following along with one of my paint classes, reading my blog posts about art and self-care, or just doodling in the margins of your planner—those moments are yours.
What I’ve come to realize over time is that creativity has this sneaky, magical way of healing. It’s like the paint, the paper, the colors… they’re all tools, but the real magic happens when someone forgets their worries for a little while and just creates.
That’s where the real joy is. That’s the part I cherish.
Here’s What You’ll Find When You Create With Me:
- Zero Pressure, All Joy: No perfection required—just show up, try something new, and enjoy the process.
- Creative Tools for Self-Care: Whether it’s a paintbrush, planner, scrap paper or printable, I give you easy ways to sneak in some “me-time.”
- A Judgment-Free Zone: No art degrees needed here! I welcome beginners, seasoned creators, and everyone in between.
- A Supportive Community: You’re never alone—think of me as your creative cheerleader, always ready to encourage you.
A Little Art, A Lot of Self-Care
I used to think of myself as just someone who loves painting and teaching others how to do it too. But now I see the bigger picture (pun totally intended). Every time I help someone pick up a paintbrush, try a new project, or even just carve out a few minutes for creativity, I’m actually helping them practice self-care.
And let’s be real—life is crazy hectic. We’re all juggling a million things, especially women, and it’s way too easy to forget to do something just for you. That’s why I do what I do. That’s why I create kits, classes, blogs, junk journals and collages. It’s not just about the final product. It’s about giving you permission to pause, relax, and reconnect with yourself.
